   ahhhh it will probably be a bit longer… for the groups i mean, but yes they will come, if i wasn’t going to put them, i wouldn’t need to transfer the files now ^_^.oO( smallish update, all the files have arrived safe at the new server and i’m doing just normal tests and such to see if everything is okidori heheheh )

   haii, another quick update, everything seems ok… so i’m changing the dns pretty soon (dns takes between 1 and 48 hours to refresh, thats why i said it might take 2 days for some people) hehehe ^_^

   ohhh and NoReality… hehehe yeah panchira downtimes are always shocking… this is like the 5th or 6th, i would think you would get used to it ;)

   and Mai hummm not world peace or better cheese toasts… noo for you is tentacle loli or nothing at all hehehehe… i’ll see what i can do about that ^_^’

   haiii last update on this (before i go to bed), the transfer was a success, and panchira is back online… what? you don’t see it? well wait for your ISP to update your dns and you will see it, or if you can’t wait… just send me a msg and i’ll explain how to refresh your dns manually ^_^’

    well there are a bunch on panchira.org, but there is a reason why there isn’t a game section on hentaish, i never got into h-games so my reach is very little around those… if i did open up a new one, i wouldn’t know what to put in it… heheheh

    i think i have the normal luck, servers go bad for a number of reasons, but for sure i’ve changed/broken my personal computers much more frequently than my servers, but i’ve been doing online stuff since.. i dont know… close to 8years, so i guess in that time frame, i’ve had like 6 or 7 server problems, and that’s not that bad (for personal computers i’ve had like 15 or more…),

    here on hentaish we had 2 problems, the first was a hard drive failure, but i didn’t bring the backups, cause that server was being a pain already (both in performance and financialy), so i choose to cancel that server, instead of bringing the server back online without a problem, the second time was this one were some stuff got damaged (cant really understand why) and the database went bye bye (although the manga are all safe and sound on the server, it is just a pain to relink 100+ mangas… ) ^-^ so i guess not too bad heheheh, i’m kinda a lucky guy muhahahah

    nope i just got home, i also can’t enter panchira, i’ve already sent a support ticket to the noc (the guys on the server farm) to go check it out, even though they should do this automatically when a server goes down, they do claim a 99% uptime guarantee and stuff like that… lets just see what happens… (maybe its a problem on the server farm and not my server in particular…), i’ll update as i know more heheheh (this stuff happens…)

    seems to be working correctly, still it seems to be a problem with the network provider, not on the server itself (where are you, europe, usa?), cause the noc said that the server was and is up and there is nothing wrong on their side (and the site is up now), well lets see eheheh ^_^

    not yet… sorry, but there were more than 12 mini downtimes in the last 3 days and this morning there are more than 6gb of .core files on the root of panchira (means probably that php/or whatnot is failing a lot of times/constantly on the server, but to reach 6gb in size, its one of those signals of impending DOOM, the normal is to get like a 70mb file in… a couple of YEARS of server usage, and if the server is good, you will never see one)… what this means is… BAD NEWS >_< so before things get completely fucked up, i’m doing another backup and moving everything to yet another server, since i’m using wget, it should be done in less then an hour, and then the normal 3 to 48hours until dns refreshes completely ^_^

    nothing was lost, besides my time and patience… i’ll update in a couple of hours… sorryyyyyy

    you wouldn’t believe it… the host froze panchira account temporarily, cause panchira was overloading the server… yeah 4 people on the site… it overloads the entire server… since he cut of my access temporarily, and i did say i had already moved the files… soooo welll when i saw panchira down… i changed dns imediatly to the new place…

    i’m terribly sorry to everyone for this, but what can i say… ^_^ i’m as bummed as everyone else and i’m tired of all the moves and i just want to relax ahhhhhhhhh nhaaaaaa heheheh

    sooo well expect a couple of hours of downtime, check… tomorrow >-< , i would say, and if everything worked out then the site should be live tomorrow at the latest ^_^

    don’t worry, that’s still probably on the old server… crashing again or something… on the new server everything seems good already, just a couple of broken pictures and such… that i’m fixing ^_^.oO(its normal… permission problems and such…) ai ai, i’m probably putting panchira back online on the new server in 1 hour or so… maybe 2, so i can check everything and make some posts and post some pictures… you know to make sure its 100% working…. after that you all know the drill, just wait until dns refreshes … it could be immediate it could take a bit longer, after i’ve done that i’ll make a post in panchira about this as well as a new one here ^_^
