^_^ hehehe, that comic is more or less what happen, in short words, panchira went down i thought it was a ning problem (ning is panchira.org host and platform supplier), only after more than an hour i realized they had deleted the network and didn’t even send me a mail or anything, so i moped and got sad for a while (+/- 5min) and then realized that i’m an AWESOME guy, i thrive on this things hehehe its a challenge, nothing is meant to last forever, so i decided to make a new panchira, a better one, one where i have full control and were things like this can never happen again…
… well really, this isn’t the first time we had problems with ning, the banning of loli on panchira was after they threaten with closing us down (even though loli is not illegal in the USA), so i guess sooner or later they would find some other reason for shutting us down…and well with ning i couldn’t make backups of anything, i still had a bunch of more talks with ning but they were just rude and uncooperative, so no change and no backups, so with the shutdown, everything is lost (posts, pictures, videos) and i’m really sorry about that, and i take full responsibility, i should have never relied on ning or any other third party with my sites, they are unreliable and have all the control over everything.
So what now? Well I’ve already ordered a new server and i’ll be working on creating a brand new panchira ^_^ it should be in testing by this weekend and open for business on the beginning of next week (yep that fast), it will obviously be a little different both in features and function as panchira on the ning platform, but i think it will be pretty awesome in its own way, see panchira was created to be hentaish forum above all else and a community for hentaish users, so in a lot of ways this is a sort of going back to the basics, and NO it wont be just a forum, it will still be a social network ^_^.oO( AN AWESOME ONE… so expect personal pages, forum, blogs, groups, friends… i’ll give an update on features and what to expect in a couple of days when the beta testing starts, ohh and the first news about the new panchira is that LOLI is back on panchira YAYYYY )
Fine fine and Hentaish? Were are the Updates? Ahhh sorry sorry about that… but after panchira is stable and working i’ll focus on hentaish, finishing up the loli especial and opening a new server so everyone is happier ^~^

I’ve already got the new server online and changed panchira dns to point to the new server (if you see on panchira.org me saying you are on the new server, it means you are on the new server muhahaha) , dns takes between 24hours to 48hours to completly refresh (i’ll be working on some other stuff while i wait), so like only saturday morning 90% of people all over the world will be pointing to the right place hehehe (and not ning or hentaish) ^_^

I think, as a Suggestion, we could divide the pics in BIG sections like “General / Loli / Tentacles / Furry / etc…” because I don’t like when you search/watch at pics page by page and find things you HATE… because there are some people that might hate some kind of pics and when looking in general (Normal) and find stuff that make you throw up… so that might make the experience more… fanciful, and relaxing.
hummm, well like i said above, yep loli will be allowed (the only reason to not allow it was because of ning bullshit), also dont expect a lot of changes on the first couple of weeks, cause i want to see what the platform can do, as i also have to learn to use it and how it works the same way we all will, but it will work differently from ning in a lot of ways, the best example is old ning panchira=myspace and new panchira=facebook ^_^’
What? well there will be less shared spaces (like on ning the pictures,videos…) and more enclosed spaces, like everyone can upload pictures and stuff on their own page, but that wont be shared (at least at first) in a big shared pictures space like it was on ning (it might be… it can be, just not at first hehe) just like in facebook, but heheheh, the groups can now have only groups uploads, so you can make a group about… tentacles and just upload tentacle pictures there and its only available to the users of that group, kinda fits with what you were asking… right? like that, but please dont take anything i say as law, this is of course a work in progress…
Also although loli is more than welcome, baby loli and more extreme guro is still “under consideration” just cause i think few people really those this more extreme stuff, and for the rest of us it can be quite brutal (even for me)… but well we will see how it works on the new panchira and see what is the best balance, i kinda always hated rules and i want it to be as free as it possible can be without being disgusting or harsh to anyone, i want everyone to feel a nice warm feeling while on panchira heheheh ^^

If you go to panchira.org now it will ask for a username and password, well thats because something interesting happen, the server started getting about 200 queries per hour for pages that… well dont exist anymore (like forum and pictures…. forgot all about that, but when the site comes back online it will help you find the stuff you want) so while i’m working on the setup and panchira design having people going around the site would not be that helpful to them or to me, better keep a lock on the door muhahah.
Also around sunday i believe we can start beta-testing, i will send a sort of invite to everyone that mail-me ( http://www.hentaish.com/contact-me/ ) if you are senpai or already sent me a e-mail after panchira went down of course you are included as well, dont need to send me another e-mail hehehe ^_^ i’ll give an update later on

dont know…hehehe 30 members?, but after being working on the code for the last couple of hours i’ll probably will scale back some of the features for now, just to make it more stable and to work quicker, and as time goes by i’ll start adding more and more features, i think the gallery/pictures system is not perfect as well as the main forum… but the groups, blogs and personal pages look and function pretty good, also i’ve changed how friends work to make it weirder (actually to make it more like twitter with its followers, ahhh you’ll understand later on muahahah), like everything, even after the new panchira is online we will see what works, what doesn’t and what needs fixing… heheeh rome wasn’t built in a day ^_^
Well, on the bright side it will mean Ning won’t be causing any more headaches. Plus, we get our lovely Loli back. Hehehe.

5) Social Stuff (Comment Walls, Friends, Friend Feeds, Internal Messages…)

1) well see it more like 2 lists (“people that follow you”=”friends of” and “people you follow”=”friends”) cause now you have friends feeds to check what your friends have been doing, the same member can be your “friends of” and “friends”, you can have unlimited friends (just make everyone your friend) but only if you are popular or loved will you have lots of “friends of” … understand now?
2) Anyone can create them, the user that creates it has to manage it, just like on ning, actually you can make a group and make it private or just for registered users or even totally public (no one would need a account to see it)
3) Not now, no music support, no embeds support as well, but those kinds of things will come up with time for sure, but you can upload music to your files
4) Like i said above, yes you can, you have total privacy/permissions control of a group
@NANUman you be lolcat? muahhaha, well i have like a backup from about 7000 users from panchira (its the only thing i took from panchira a month ago, its basically only usernames/e-mails and profile questions)… but i’m still on the first phases working with this new software, i’m sure i can pull at least those 7000 users accounts (their username/password/profile information) on the new network, but there are 2 problems with that, not too sure if people would like to have an account already setup on something new and second i dont know if i can convert it and install of of these accounts properly… at least on the time frame i gave myself

Ok ok, so i’m a little bit behind on schedule, i was going to do a awesome new design, but half way through i changed my mind (im kinda like that) and didn’t want everyone to feel like they were jumping into something completely unknown, so i did the exact opposite and tried to make the new platform as similar as possible with the old panchira… hope everyone still likes it and appreciates me going against my nature muahahah, the problem with this is that it takes a bit more work and therefore time ^_^ .oO( the original design was hacked as hell to work in the ning system )
Also im trying my best to hack it a bit to make it more… how should i put it… friendly hehehe, cause for me its really cool, but i had time to read how stuff works and have tried it for a couple of days now, but i would think old panchira members and new members would be completely confused… so i’m hacking away, so expect stuff like the top bar ning had or the friendly menu panchira had, although now they might have less functions or more functions muahhaha i’m filled with “innovation”, now i’ve got to get some sleep…

This is good news. I liked Ning panchira at first, but you kind of noticed its limits after a few weeks (what were the groups for, really? I didn’t see much use for them, except to say you liked that stuff). I’m glad to see the new panchira focuses more on community.
All in all, this is probably a good thing, we don’t need those Ning bastards anyway :)

@kopiekat yep yep sometimes it was a drag working with ning, now it should be smooth sailing i would say in about 6months, the new panchira will be much better than ning’s (it will have all of ning features, plus much much more) and that’s besides the fact that there will be much more freedom for everybody to do whatever they want and the security of being hosted by me…. sure now its a bit bland compared with ning’s, but thats cause i’m fixing and modifying a lot of things, after that is done, its time for features baby… (the first one is the picture gallery system, so everyone can start uploading whatever they want….) and even the new picture gallery system will be kick ass, you can upload multiple pictures on your own profile, or you can upload pictures just for a singpecific group or even you can make albums so you can upload a full manga and that wont be mixed with the rest of the pics… way better than nings… for sure ^_^
also i fixed a css error here, dont know why it was cutting on the lines (dont remember making that change)… and everyone text was all without spaces, should be much better now ^_^’ sorrryyy

just relax and try and find a farmer’s market, thats normally where you would find the freshest fruit ^_^ ohh and if you are talking about something else, well fruit is always good and yummy so go get some and explain it better to me ^-^
Mreow~ well I’d have to say that they are probably talk’n about the cute stars of the anime/manga strawberry mashmellow =o. Hahah awsomer I just got sued over a silly car wreck which was totally the other person’s fault but such is life X) I was the younger one and lacked insurance due to my father loosing his job.
