    @noreality well 5 days or a bit more, but its not like a full month or 6 months, it just takes that time to get a new server, then setting up the new server, new software, changing the new software, making a “panchira design” and beta testing a bit… 5 days is actually kinda cutting it short…

    @Dark_Lord_GENOS hai domo arigato, and i am really sorry about that, the only thing i can guarantee is that… even if the new panchira a LONG LONG TIME FROM NOW ever gets closed, that everyone can take their stuff with them or to another social network (yep the new network makes it easy to transfer your stuff to other social networks hehehe) and everyones stuff will always be safe… even if a meteor hits the datacenter (i’ve got remote backups to the other side of the planet hehehe)

    So a Quick Update:
    I’ve already got the new server online and changed panchira dns to point to the new server (if you see on panchira.org me saying you are on the new server, it means you are on the new server muhahaha) , dns takes between 24hours to 48hours to completly refresh (i’ll be working on some other stuff while i wait), so like only saturday morning 90% of people all over the world will be pointing to the right place hehehe (and not ning or hentaish) ^_^

    hummm, well like i said above, yep loli will be allowed (the only reason to not allow it was because of ning bullshit), also dont expect a lot of changes on the first couple of weeks, cause i want to see what the platform can do, as i also have to learn to use it and how it works the same way we all will, but it will work differently from ning in a lot of ways, the best example is old ning panchira=myspace and new panchira=facebook ^_^’

    What? well there will be less shared spaces (like on ning the pictures,videos…) and more enclosed spaces, like everyone can upload pictures and stuff on their own page, but that wont be shared (at least at first) in a big shared pictures space like it was on ning (it might be… it can be, just not at first hehe) just like in facebook, but heheheh, the groups can now have only groups uploads, so you can make a group about… tentacles and just upload tentacle pictures there and its only available to the users of that group, kinda fits with what you were asking… right? like that, but please dont take anything i say as law, this is of course a work in progress…

    Also although loli is more than welcome, baby loli and more extreme guro is still “under consideration” just cause i think few people really those this more extreme stuff, and for the rest of us it can be quite brutal (even for me)… but well we will see how it works on the new panchira and see what is the best balance, i kinda always hated rules and i want it to be as free as it possible can be without being disgusting or harsh to anyone, i want everyone to feel a nice warm feeling while on panchira heheheh ^^

    If you go to panchira.org now it will ask for a username and password, well thats because something interesting happen, the server started getting about 200 queries per hour for pages that… well dont exist anymore (like forum and pictures…. forgot all about that, but when the site comes back online it will help you find the stuff you want) so while i’m working on the setup and panchira design having people going around the site would not be that helpful to them or to me, better keep a lock on the door muhahah.

    dont know…hehehe 30 members?, but after being working on the code for the last couple of hours i’ll probably will scale back some of the features for now, just to make it more stable and to work quicker, and as time goes by i’ll start adding more and more features, i think the gallery/pictures system is not perfect as well as the main forum… but the groups, blogs and personal pages look and function pretty good, also i’ve changed how friends work to make it weirder (actually to make it more like twitter with its followers, ahhh you’ll understand later on muahahah), like everything, even after the new panchira is online we will see what works, what doesn’t and what needs fixing… heheeh rome wasn’t built in a day ^_^

    4) Files (you can post any file type on your personal page or on a group, max file size for now 20Mb, and only one file at a time… no multiple uploads for now, cause… well the file system is cool, but they aren’t the picture galleries, i don’t want people uploading 100gb of pictures on the files and then when i activate the galleries… complaining that they aren’t on the picture galleries… right)
    5) Social Stuff (Comment Walls, Friends, Friend Feeds, Internal Messages…)

    What will be missing:
    1) Main Forum (expect it by the end of the month)
    2) Picture Galleries (expect it by the end of the month)
    3) Video Galleries (expect it… when i get my hands on it hehehe)

    1) well see it more like 2 lists (”people that follow you”=”friends of” and “people you follow”=”friends”) cause now you have friends feeds to check what your friends have been doing, the same member can be your “friends of” and “friends”, you can have unlimited friends (just make everyone your friend) but only if you are popular or loved will you have lots of “friends of” … understand now?
    2) Anyone can create them, the user that creates it has to manage it, just like on ning, actually you can make a group and make it private or just for registered users or even totally public (no one would need a account to see it)
    3) Not now, no music support, no embeds support as well, but those kinds of things will come up with time for sure, but you can upload music to your files
    4) Like i said above, yes you can, you have total privacy/permissions control of a group

    Ok ok, so i’m a little bit behind on schedule, i was going to do a awesome new design, but half way through i changed my mind (im kinda like that) and didn’t want everyone to feel like they were jumping into something completely unknown, so i did the exact opposite and tried to make the new platform as similar as possible with the old panchira… hope everyone still likes it and appreciates me going against my nature muahahah, the problem with this is that it takes a bit more work and therefore time ^_^ .oO( the original design was hacked as hell to work in the ning system )

    Also im trying my best to hack it a bit to make it more… how should i put it… friendly hehehe, cause for me its really cool, but i had time to read how stuff works and have tried it for a couple of days now, but i would think old panchira members and new members would be completely confused… so i’m hacking away, so expect stuff like the top bar ning had or the friendly menu panchira had, although now they might have less functions or more functions muahhaha i’m filled with “innovation”, now i’ve got to get some sleep…

    This is good news. I liked Ning panchira at first, but you kind of noticed its limits after a few weeks (what were the groups for, really? I didn’t see much use for them, except to say you liked that stuff). I’m glad to see the new panchira focuses more on community.

    All in all, this is probably a good thing, we don’t need those Ning bastards anyway :)

    @kopiekat yep yep sometimes it was a drag working with ning, now it should be smooth sailing i would say in about 6months, the new panchira will be much better than ning’s (it will have all of ning features, plus much much more) and that’s besides the fact that there will be much more freedom for everybody to do whatever they want and the security of being hosted by me…. sure now its a bit bland compared with ning’s, but thats cause i’m fixing and modifying a lot of things, after that is done, its time for features baby… (the first one is the picture gallery system, so everyone can start uploading whatever they want….) and even the new picture gallery system will be kick ass, you can upload multiple pictures on your own profile, or you can upload pictures just for a singpecific group or even you can make albums so you can upload a full manga and that wont be mixed with the rest of the pics… way better than nings… for sure ^_^

    when you delete an e-mail it doesn’t disappear, it normally goes to the trash… go to the trash and check… if you really did erase it, then make a new one, if it doesnt let you make one with your username, then tell me and i’ll delete the “un-activated” account ^_^
