For multiple reasons, hentaish has been around for ages and the last theme for even more hahahha, jokin!, well the problem is that a lot of things on the last theme were hacked on over time, features were built in, and so by making all the changes i wanted todo, the old theme would break really fast (im putting bellow a checklist of the stuff done), also some of the new features wouldn’t be compatible, so turning them on! wouldn’t do a thing (cause again the theme doesn’t have the hooks to run those features…), so best to turn it on half way when its usable and then do the rest of the stuff while the site is live!

Stuff Done

• Lots of visitors had problem with the old menu (yeah it was pretty, but it faded a bit into the background), now we have a chunky unmissable menu!
• Separate Inner Links with outside links to our sister sites (aka Hentaish Network)
• New Logo muhahahah
• I’ve reedirected all dead links from the filehosts back to hentaish… so if the links brings you back, then its dead (better than sending you to filesonic or fileserve…)
• Now every posts shows up on the first page (you dont need to navigate to manga/anime to check all the stuff!!!)
• So news are still relevant and visible there is a small slideshow on the main page as well!!
• The site is now 980px wide, practically the new standard!
• We now use tags!!! so most of the older categories were turned into tags (A category is general like anime or manga, a tag is more precise like loli or tentacles), this way i can add way more tags into posts and make it easier to everyone to find the stuff they want!

On other news, i’ve started the new hentaish design, no it wont be a redesign, so dont expect the same layout, i was kinda thinking a whole multimedia flash experience, but i changed my mind, i like hentaish like this! simple and clean, so thats where im going, ill also fix some of the bad design decisions i made with this design (confusing menu, confusing categories, fixed layout…), make it cleaner and faster and easier to navigate, and ill probably take some ideas from 4kun (another one of my sites) and make it more silly and fun, but not over the top like 4kun… much…

So if you guys have ideas, or want some stuff to show up or change, now is your chance, im not saying ill do it, but you know i always try and give everyone what they want, i expect to have this done before the end of next week…

PS1: finally ended the meganekko special… holly shit almost a full month of daily updates, that’s pretty tiresome ^_^’

Woot? Am i doing a Meganekko Christmas Special? Am I that good!!!! well… no…

Hahahah, what i am doing is just a plain boring super huge christmas new years bridged meganekko especial, muhahah, incase you dont know what it is, meganekko (or megane if its for boys/shota) basically means girl wearing glasses, its a kinda a fetish thing, meaning that because the girl is wearing glasses, she becomes way more attractive or well having them makes her atractive hehehehe, it kinda doesnt matter if she still is without them, the thing is the combo makes her level up even moar!!!!

The good thing is that, although there are plenty of meganekko focused mangas, there are plenty of other genre mangas that have meganekko/megane, so this especial will have all kinds of different mangas/animes, its a freaking win=win for everyone, and if i say so myself a kick ass end of the year extravaganza, ill try and post as much as i can during this week (although im not too sure if i can post it all in a week hahahaha, its that much), so enjoy your holidays, have yourself a food/present orgy, and lets get this party starting!

Also there were some questions about the filehosts, just to make it clear! I choose them based on very basic criteria, in this case filesonic/fileserve/depositfiles are very popular lots of people have premium accounts there, so its a no-brainer to support those, uploaded is my personal fav so that is on as well, uploadstation/crocko is like filefactory/ifile/bitshare those i rotate just so i don’t put all my eggs in one basket, all of these are reasonably stable, reasonably easy to download from and files stay online for quite some time, that’s pretty much it.

You can always recommend new ones or complaint about existing ones, as an example im not using rapidshare or megaupload cause there were complaints of popups and misleading links… so those ones are out!

Mediafire, Dropbox, Box, Minus… i would love to, but popular files don’t seem to last at all in any of these, but i can use them for old files or not so popular ^_^

And why not host them myself? well cause i did that for a lot of years and it was a pain to maintain and pay for it (at one point it was almost 100mb line going down from all the “abuse”…. coof coof i mean downloads), the way it is now, its way more easy to keep the site, also if you use something like jdownloader, its pretty straightforward.

If you feel the image above leaves you down and depressed, then it is working! hahahaha, Netorare or NTR for short comes from hentai games, the goal in the game is to fuck up the player/protagonist by bringing out… mostly jealousy, but also all those other emotions that come with betrayal!

Mostly its a bunch of setups devised for the player to fall in love with a girl or like her and she likes back, and all those cutesy romantic stuff, and then something happens that makes her betray you and go have sex and other kinky stuff with someone else! JUST LIKE REAL LIFE! hahahah T_T

Anyways the most common are… hummm the girl falls in love with someone else, or she is kinda raped or abused at first but then falls in love with his dick hahaha ok ok falls in love with sex and being a slut, humm just plain rape can also be accepted as NTR especially if the player is watching and well using tricks, like brainwhashing, blackmail, hypnotism, drugs, whatever it takes to make her have sex and get addicted ^_^

Still apparently there are plenty of manga and anime (based on games… it makes sense hehehe) around NTR, so my fellow pervs get your tissues ready (for all the tears!!!!! you all have dirty minds!) for the Netorare Special!!!!
