   I know i said you can request anywhere, but this is not really the place for it (use the main post on the main page…if you want to request something later on), and not with a double post, anyway both are off the server so i don’t see them popping here any time soon (I have a tendency to put new stuff in and not bring back stuff that’s already deleted from the server)

   And actually angel blade was only deleted 2 days ago and stayed on the site for more than 3 months, anyway you can always request on neechan.org maybe someone can do you a favor, sorry about that (i’ll put something new today to try and make up for it ^^)

   Here or on the anime/manga in question is fine, although in this case i can’t help you, because i don’t know what are you talking about, i don’t know what “the isukis” is, so if you could be more precise on what content are you talking about, i can be try and be more helpfull, also all of the .rar files come with recovery files, so you can try and recover the file with winrar…

   I’ve Downloaded 7-zip, As well as K-lite Codek Pack. I Have Media Player Classic, And also downloaded Elfina – Servant Princess. (Elfina 1)
   Unfortunately When i try to open the File, It sais it “cannot render the file”

   I’m assuming i have to compress / Uncompress the file (Don’t know much when it comes to computers…) But i have different options from 7-zip all mentioning Compressing and Emailing… I Clicked on one and got an “add to Archive” With alot of things i’m supposed to do.

   If I could get a small walkthrough of what i’m supposed to do from where i am, To get the movie going, That would be great.’

   Sorry for the late reply here is a small walk through:

   Click on the download link, a small window should pop up, then click on download this file, wait until something happens (error or download), then download the file, after that’s done, if it’s .zip or .rar use winrar, if it’s .7z or .zip use 7zip, just double click on the file and choose “Extract” to decompress the files, you can also try right mouse click and choose “Extract”, then you will get a file or a folder with files, then make sure you have a codec pack installed and just double click on that file to run it (or you can open windows media player classic or bsplayer and open file through them, or just drag the file to their respective windows), and that’s about it.

   I choose to compress the files because even though they are already video compressed, the compression does save some megabytes and it also prevents the media player from trying to stream the video (instead of downloading it).

   Remember if you are having problems, using the help system from each software of using google and writing your problem there, is a great way to help yourself…

   :( I’m not sure if I’m doing this wrong, but I just downloaded G Spot Express, and I am trying to unzip it on my Mac (it’s a .7z file). I don’t have a Windows PC, and it looks like 7zip is not available for Macs? I hope this is not the case, because I would be a very sad person if this turned out to be true. Thanks for any help you can give.

    Ohhh well only 6% of my traffic is from macs hehehe, well fear no more, wipe that sad face, there are software alternatives, actually the 7zip.org page does point to them, and here they are:

    I did realised that using 7zip (although open source) is more trouble for everyone … for a lot of people just using .zip is already a big leap, so 7zip no more ^^

    sry, forgot the other part of the problem, when i download the vid, it never downloads the whole thing. The most I have been able to get is like 164mb.

    They are both more or less the same thing, because if you don’t download the full file, there won’t be anything for you to unzip, also i’ll need a bit more information, are you using a download manager like flashget ( http://www.flashget.com/index_en.htm ) or orbitdownloader ( http://www.orbitdownloader.com/ ) ? What is you internet connection? Or whatever else you might think it’s relevant, also i’ve noticed that the server that hosts little monica is not working properly, so that might be it as well.

    So try using a download manager for now and see if it helps, if not give me more info, meanwhile i will be checking that server ^^

    I’ve got a fairly good net connection – about 2MB DSL I believe. Unhappily I quite often hit a point where the file I’m downloading just cuts out halfway through – this has happened on Angel Core 1 and 2, as well as Shoyonoido Mako-Chan. I decided on Flashget to help out the situation – so that a dl could be resumed if this happens – but now the dl speed has dropped to about 0.5kbps from the 75kbps when I’m just using IE… Should I be using fewer/more threads with Flashget? Also, I was thinking, is it possible that incomplete files stop downloading as soon as your timed bandwidth limit is reached?

    Humm, sorry about all the problems, i’ll try and make things a bit better (not limiting so much, extending the timeout period so if you are using flashget you’ll be able to download it, removing “older” anime, etv), wait a couple of days, and again sorry about the problems.

    ohh and on flashget, my download system only supports one thread, using multiple won’t probably help you out…

    y is the download speed too low , from 50kb it went to 27kb then to 0.20kb , T_T … and i downloaded Maid in heaven episode 1 but when i extracted it it went corrupt .. omG! pls help

    It went corrupt because you didn’t download all of it, are you using a download manager?, if so are you using multiple connections (you shouldn’t, too many and the system will bring you down), you should use only one, or you were just unlucky and the download system stopped the download because the total amount of bandwidth for that 2hour had been reached.

    If you had read all the information on the site (or used the search), you would see that the bandwidth is not infinite and there are some limits, the best course of action is to use a download manager and download what you want in the course of a couple of days (it would be complicated to download everything on hentaish in a single day).

    Sorry. While it ziped out fine I think, it just says it needs to be watched on Windows Media Centre but it won’t play on that. That’s my problem.

    The only one i know is EZ 7Z… but apparently there are a bunch of them … check the end of the article http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/7z … plenty to choose from ^_^

    Hope this was helpful, and yes we know use only .rar and .zip … i don’t know what i was thinking using .7z (my open source vein got the best of me hehehe)

    Well first of all, WELLLCOME TO HENTAISH … my friend muahahah, ohhh well this is the right place, did you install… something like the k-lite codec pack? because like the name says that pack has the codecs you will need, get the standard version and you will be fine… it comes also with windows media player classic… its much better than the wmp11 for viewing videos ^_^ more problems, questions or whatever… feel free to comment away ^^

    Ohh and you can also go to panchira.org forum and ask questions there as well (more people and all to help you out hehehe)

    Is there a practical way to resume an interrupted download?

    Whenever I try download an anime from you, I get XXX meg of it.(Usually up to 70Mb or so), then your server cuts me off. Most likely your server reached its temporary bandwidth limit. However, no matter what I try I cannot get the download to resume. I use a download manager, usually Netants or FlashGet, with single thread selection.

    How do I resume a download? With only a 512 adsl link, I never manage to get the whole episode before i get booted.

    ohhh well that’s a bummer, in theory resume is kinda operational and yes using something like flashget will do, but your not the first to complain about it, i guess the resume only works in the same thread, that means that the system lets you resume if there is still bandwidth, if not it will just cut you out.

    And having a slow connection is not the ideal scenario, from the back of my head i don’t see a clear cut/long term solution for you… i’m sorry, i can post some of the anime you really really want on some free file sharing sites, so you can at least get those… but besides that… get a better adsl connection? or come at different time of day to try and avoid the times of day with more people (i’ll give you a hint…about 70% of the visitors come from america).

    hey i’ve been downloading stuff from the sports special everything downloads fine, but when i go to extract it asks for a password which of course i dont know. i have tried downloading again several times but every time it’s the same. any idea why?
    am running ubuntu, if that helps any…..

    sorry about that, but i assure you, everything on hentaish has no passwords, it never had, it will never have, so this is another kind of problem, did you check to see if you have the same size file (if its not smaller than what we say here on hentaish?) what software are you using to uncompress?

    am using file roller and never had a problem with it before. i have always uncompressed files from here fine. i was even able to do some of the sports special like: Angles in the Court ep1, Fruits cup ep2, both episodes of Hooligan, princess 69 ep 1, and all the manga uncompressed fine. so i am at a loss as to what the problem could be.
    i even got myself a new download manager to see if the files weren’t downloading completely but its still the same problem. the files are the same as it says here….. i dont know what am doing wrong
    i might have to resign myself to stream instead of downloading…

    weird… still my advice for now is to try another software to uncompress, since you are using ubuntu, try their built-in instaler and check if they offer another good uncompressor (since i dont have unbuntu, and there are pleanty of uncompressors for linux, i don’t know what they have available), and try that, if you can’t… hummm we will see what we can do, ok ^^ there has to be some solution hehehe

    ahhh great, well what might have happen is that file roller might be a bit old and we could have a new version of .rar or .zip that file roller is not able to uncompressed for now, something like that might have happen, i do update winrar from time to time, so a new version might bring some changes on the compression code ^^ ohh and thanks for visiting hentaish hehehe

    yep, thats about it, we used to post the full video, but people had more problems with broken downloads and stuff like that… so we moved to breaking it up with winrar so its easier to download and easier to move to file hosts if need be ^^

    hummm, you have to be a bit more specific, like are the files you download the same size as we say on the site? it might have gotten broken if your internet connection is not speedy, it happens sometimes, also what software are you using to uncompressed the .rar files?

    well try winrar just incase (7-zip can uncompress most .rar files, but not all), and you have to check and see if the file sizes we say on the site are the same sizes you have on your hard-drive, if there is anything else i can help you, please tell me heheheh ^_^

    haii no problem, first of all are the files you downloaded the size that its on the post, like 99mb or 40mb or 200mb… it has to be more or less the same size, if it isnt then the download didnt come through and its corrupted and you have to download again … sorry sorry ^^ i’ve upped a mirror just encase to help you are having any problem downloading hehehe

    Hey, ive downloaded tons of videos, was going to a mass compress, but seems like i cant, ive tried extracting the files, says theyre broken.. i have 7zip and CCCP downloaded, ive already gotten 1 video to where i could watch it, but dont know how i did it…, ive even tried compressing and emailing the videos, but i cancel out of the email thing, should i email the video to myself after i compress it, and then re-download it, or should i download more files like 7zip and CCCP?

    you should use google and learn what these words mean and what they do with software: “compress” “uncompress” “codecs” “download” “video file” and whatever else you might think its useful, cause you must be like a 12 year old, since all of this is kinda easy, sure people might get confused from time to time, thats cool no one is born knowing everything, but i’ve explained the same thing to you for now… 3 times at least, step by step and now you are talking about compressing again and e-mailing? come on… the internet is a big place go learn from it… i’ll bet when you come back to hentaish you kick yourself in the head for some of the stuff you are talking about now… cheers

    So I downloaded the series Daiakuji-04. I downloaded all three and put extracted them on my comp. The file it extracted to is a .mkv file. I tried playing it on my windows media player and it wouldn’t recognize it. I tried playing it on a different player and it told me it wasn’t a video. What do I need to do to play it? Help please I have been working on trying to get this work for over an hour and a half now : /

    ohh no problem, and you are on the right page, the .mkv file means basically a Matroska Multimedia Container, and although that probably will sound weird to you, it basically means a .avi video files with added extras (like multiples subtitles and multiples language tracks/dubs) thats it… you can see it and use it, just by installing a codec pack like i say above (my favorite is k-lite codec pack .. you can get it here http://www.codecguide.com/download_kl.htm you can download the standard or full, check the site for more info) and thats it… the codec pack brings a better video player (windows media player classic) but after the codecs are installed, your computer will run absolutely any video file you throw at it hehehe….

    as an alternative, instead of installing a codec pack, you can install a video player with built in codec support like VLC http://www.videolan.org/vlc/ , that will work as well for most cases ^^

    ohh and both are free and open source ^^

    well mozilla not always reports the real speed of the downloads, only aproximate, still if it moves faster for you, then use it, the downloads comes in parts cause you the users requested it (so there are less broken downloads and its more easy to create mirrors of the files), yep you will probably need something like winrar to join all the files into one big one so you can watch it with k-lite codec pack ^_^ if you need more help just reply away hehehe

    ok… the pictures are fine hunybuny, you should use a better software to watch them, if you are using windows try right-click on one of the pictures and choose “open with…” and then windows picture and fax viewer if that gives and error than please reply back and i’ll take a look hehehe

    and ovrlrd hummm for videos the best way to convert them is through software, online converters are cool but only for small fines, try super ( http://www.erightsoft.com/SUPER.html ) or mediacoder ( http://mediacoder.sourceforge.net/ ) both are free ^_^ and have loads of options, if you need any help just tell me, ohhh and anoher online converter is http://www.zamzar.com/ hehehehe
